Venue Guidelines & Safety Policy

At The Paddock Riding Club, the safety of our guests, horses, and staff is our top priority. To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all, the following guidelines apply:

General Guidelines

● Guests must follow all posted rules and staff instructions

● Children must be supervised at all times

● No running, loud noises, or sudden movements near horses

● Closed-toe shoes are strongly recommended

● No feeding or handling horses without permission

Rider Requirements

● All riders are required to sign a waiver prior to participation (waivers will be provided)

Event & Vendor Requirements

● All vendors are required to carry insurance

● A valid Certificate of Insurance (COI) must be provided prior to arrival

● The Paddock Riding Club must be listed as an Additional Insured

● Event hosts are responsible for ensuring all vendors are compliant

Drone & Aerial Filming Policy

For the safety of our horses, guests, and staff, the use of drones or any aerial filming equipment is not permitted unless approved in advance by The Paddock Riding Club. Unauthorized drone use can startle horses and create unsafe conditions.

● No drones may be operated anywhere on the property without prior approval

● Drone use is strictly prohibited during riding sessions or when any guest is mounted

● All approved drone operators must provide proof of insurance and comply with all applicable regulations

● All aerial filming must be coordinated with staff in advance

The Paddock Riding Club reserves the right to immediately stop any unauthorized drone activity.

Fire Safety (California Requirements)

● No smoking is permitted anywhere on the property

● No open flames, candles, or unauthorized heat sources are allowed

● All electrical equipment must be approved in advance

● Fire lanes and emergency access points must remain clear at all times

● All guests, vendors, and productions must comply with local fire safety regulations

In the Event of a Fire:

● Emergency services (911) will be contacted immediately

● On-site staff will initiate response procedures and direct guests to safe areas

● Horses will be handled by trained personnel only
